Whilst it was hoped we would have a full scale re-union in the Drawing Room circumstances have militated against us this year, and the event has, with great regret, had to be cancelled.
A few of us may still be able to meet perhaps for coffee on the weekend. Please use the comments form below or otherwise contact us in your usual way should you be around and wish to meet.

Hello again! Apologies for errors in previous message. There are others, but my reference to a previous visit was I think 1969, and although I meant “goes well”, not swell, I think I misread and that you have had to cancel this May’s reunion….good luck with rearranging! Again, all the best, Bob.
Hello,
I doubt that I really qualify for inclusion here, having only completed two terms at Acklam Hall Grammar, before being whisked off down to the midlands due to father’s job move. I think I read mention of the 1964 intake, but my short stay was 1959/60.
Despite such a short time both a the school and only in Middlesbrough for 12 months, it gave me some lifelong interests, including the birdwatching club.
Interesting timing, having only just discovered this blog, I have booked lunch this coming Sunday in the restaurant in the hall, which will be my first return since a very brief visit in I think 1959.
Rotten timing as I read that you are meeting the following Sunday. Nevertheless, I have learnt more about the history of the hall in a bit of reading today, than was ever imparted first time around!
I hope that your get together goes swell!
All best wishes,
Bob Chaffer.
